Rost Martin is a new firearm manufacture based out of Dallas, Texas. Their first offering, the RM1C, is a concealed carry pistol that has been designed for the modern concealed carry market. Out of the box, it's optic ready, equipped with a standard Picatinny rail for a weapon light, and comes with two magazines (a flush-fitting 15-round mag and an extended 17-round mag).
What stood out to us is the build quality, accuracy, and the trigger that Rost Martin built into the RM1C at an MSRP of $459.99. (We've seen gun shop prices around $400.) You're getting a lot of value with the RM1C at that price.
Slide serrations on the side (for manipulations) and on the top (to reduce glare), a blacked-out serrated rear sight, and a grip with what we consider a "happy medium" level of stippling - make the compact RM1C a great option for concealed carry.
The trigger pull is consistently around the 5-pound mark. There's about a half-inch of take up before you hit a firm wall. The break is clean and the reset is very audible. There's about a quarter-inch of take up before finding the wall. of the second shot. It's a good trigger for its purpose - a concealed carry pistol for self-defense.
We're proud to support the RM1C with our flagship line of Ventcore 2.0 holsters. We have holster options for inside-the-waistband (IWB), appendix IWB, and outside-the-waistband. Check them out at the following link: https://stealthgearusa.com/holster/rost-martin-rm1c/
