Posted by StealthGearUSA on Aug 24th 2021

StealthGearUSA LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Justin Wong to the role of President of SGUSA. Wong has been with the company for six years, and in that time has served in a number of roles including Marketing Manager and since 2018 as General Manager. "This promotion is made with the full support and affirmation of our Board of Directors, and with the utmost confidence in Justin's personal and professional character, capacity, and passion for the company and the industry at large," said Paul Laemmlen, Chairman and Founder of StealthGearUSA LLC.

As President, Wong is specifically tasked with the day-to-day leadership of all activities and operations of StealthGearUSA LLC, including manufacturing, marketing, customer service, human resources, and administration and accounting. He will also continue to work closely with Laemmlen who is the head of the company's Research and Development Department.

Wong said "I'm humbled by the Board and Owner's confidence in me, and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities this new role will bring. We have some exciting new product innovations and improvements that we are fully engaged in and having a key role in bringing these to our customers and industry means a great deal to me. To have started my journey with StealthGearUSA as a customer to now being tasked with leading us to new heights – it’s really an honor for me. I believe in our products and the team we’ve built here. The future is bright for StealthGearUSA.”

In his past role as General Manager, Wong has been mentored by StealthGearUSA LLC's Chief Executive Officer Randy M. Ataíde, who has held that role for the past six years. Ataide said "I have seen great professional development in Justin and his product knowledge, tenacity, loyalty, and integrity makes him ideally suited for this expanded role. He is fully ready for this position and to lead our team." It is anticipated that over the coming year, as Wong gets fully up to speed in his new role, that Ataíde, who is also a co-owner of the company, will relinquish his executive role and serve as a member of the Board of Directors.
