USING YOUR HOLSTER
Use an unloaded firearm when testing the fit and retention of your holster.
Practice drawing and holstering with an unloaded firearm until your are comfortable doing both at normal speed.
When drawing or re-holstering your firearm, keep your finger away from the trigger. Keep your trigger finger straight and parallel to the firearm when drawing or holstering.
There is rarely a good reason to re-holster quickly or in a rush. Be aware of the situation. If there is no need to rush holstering your firearm, then take your time. Remember to keep your finger straight, outside of the trigger guard, and away from the trigger.
It is the user’s responsibility to maintain this holster.
We recommend inspecting the screws, clips, and shell daily to ensure proper and safe function. The holster will not require daily maintenance but a habit of daily inspection will prevent long periods of time elapsing with zero maintenance being performed.
Each holster that is assembled uses fasteners that have been pre-treated with threadlocker. The retention is then set at our factory to our specifications. If you adjust the retention, it will break the hold of the threadlocker. We recommend reapplying a small amount of medium or low-strength threadlocker to the threads of each screw after you have determined your preferred level of retention.
HOW TO ADJUST RETENTION
Ensure your firearm is unloaded.
Put the holster on your waistband and insert the firearm into the holster - you should hear a soft “click” as the firearm is fully seated into the holster.
Draw the unloaded firearm to test the retention. Re-holster and draw again a few times to get a good feel for the retention and how you would like to adjust it.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to adjust accordingly, tighten or loosen the screws by 1/8 turns. Repeat steps until desire retention has been reached.
Inspect your holster daily to ensure the retention has not changed, screws are tight, and the shell and belt clips are secure.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
We recommend wiping down the inside of your shell on a regular basis. This will help prevent dust, lint, and other particles from building up inside the holster shell.
After prolonged used, you may want to wash the holster platform. We recommend washing the holster platform in lukewarm, soapy water. Rinse, then set in a cool dry place to air dry.
Do not use heat source to dry your holster. Hair dryers, spacer heaters, heat guns, radiators, etc. can deform and destroy your holster.
Additionally, do not leave or store your holster where it will be exposed to high temperatures.
